INDUSTRY TRAINING
The Manitoba Aviation Council can help its members with arranging training. We have offered first aid for cabin crew, crew resource management, and ATP licence exam prep courses, amongst others. If you have a particular training need that you can't fill in-house, contact the MAC executive director at mbavn@mymts.net for more information.
Air Transport Pilot licence exam training
MAC and Harv's Air Service are hosting an Air Transport Pilot licence exam preparation session. This training will take place on Saturday and Sunday, 25 & 26 February, at the Holiday Inn Express, 1740 Ellice Avenue. The training is led by Keith D'Mello, an Air Canada first officer on Airbus A220s. The cost of this two day session is $250. This includes lunch on both days and access to the PilotTraining.ca ATPL study course for 90 days. Register using this form. We will contact you to arrange payment.
AVIATION EGRESS TRAINING
MAC is pleased to co-ordinate with Aviation Egress Systems to provide Transport Canada required water egress training for commercial floatplane pilots. We have several dates available in February and March 2023, just in time for float season. Check out our poster, and contact MAC executive director Raquel Lincoln at mbavn@mymts.net to reserve spots for your pilots.
