The Manitoba Aviation Council is pleased to present Harv's Air Service's Air Transport Pilot Licence ground school. This course will prepare you to write the Transport Canada ATP licence examination. The course runs from 9 am to 5 pm, on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, March 4th to 6th, 2022, at the Holiday Inn Express Winnipeg Airport Polo Park, 1740 Ellice Avenue, in Winnipeg. Participants must be fully vaccinated and attend all three days to finish the course. Lunch is provided each day.

The instructor is Steve Pomroy. His bio is below.

Steve Pomroy is a Class 1 Flight Instructor and a regional airline Captain with over 6,000 hours of flight experience and over 3,000 hours of civilian and military instructional experience.  Steve obtained his PPL through the Air Cadet program in 1992, and has been involved in aviation in some capacity for most of the time since.  He started teaching in Shearwater in 1995, and has held a variety of roles in flight training, including the role of Chief Flight Instructor at two schools.  In 2000, Steve published the textbook 'Applied Aerodynamics for Private and Commercial Pilots', and since then has developed and published an exam preparation book for Private Pilot candidates and a supplementary online exam preparation course. Steve holds an undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering, and a Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering.  Aside from his airline duties, Steve operates the online education website and offers flight instruction and Pilot Examiner services through
